Spanish for Advanced Beginners (A1)

This course is a perfect follow-on to Spanish for True Beginners or an exceptional review for students who have studied Spanish in the past but have taken a long pause and need a good refresher. Join us for a journey to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico where you will learn both Spanish language and culture through engaging introductory conversations and scenarios that will make communicating in real life a reality!

What you should know before you enroll: No prior experience with the language is required.

Upon completing this course, you will be able to:

• Recite the Spanish alphabet
• Correctly pronounce Spanish words
• Identify dozens of Spanish-English cognates
• Ask and answer questions about yourself and others
• Identify a variety of objects that you see
• Describe people and things
• Express how you feel

Note: 

• Class materials will be emailed to the students one week prior to the commencement of the course. Some courses also require a course textbook for purchase on Amazon or a local bookstore.
• North Arlington locations are assigned based on available classroom space. Although we try to assign each course to only one location, we may have to offer a few lessons at the opposite location if no space is available. Your teacher will send you the lesson location each week.
