Ready to knit your first pair of socks? Take this Intro to Making Socks workshop with Annette and learn easy sock construction.
Materials:
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (we suggest Cascade's 220 Superwash Merino or Plymouth Encore)
- Needles: Size US5 double-pointed needles
- Pattern: Provided in class
- Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle

- Kitchener stitch
Skill Level: Beginner, must know how to knit, purl and do basic increase and decrease (we will not teach you how to knit in this class).

Q: Can I make up a class if I miss one?
A: No. There are no makeups allowed. You might be able to informally meet with the instructor but it would be up to the instructor. The school is very flexible with scheduling and attendance for our Beginning Knitting and Beginning Crochet courses; however, for intermediate level courses, they ask students commit to attending the scheduled sessions.

A: Some students like to have a pen and notebook available to take notes, but it is up to you. Any other materials they might need can be purchased at the school's store. There is also a convenience store next to the shop if students would like to have a beverage during class.
