What you'll learn in this sewing machine class:
First time using a sewing machine? Or the first time in a while? In our Introduction to Machine Sewing workshop we start from the beginning, explaining all the parts and functions of your standard domestic sewing machine and from there we start on techniques and every student leaves with a finished project.
Workshops are held Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm and Saturdays from 10am to Noon.
All equipment and materials are included. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine should they prefer.
Refund Policy
You will incur $20 reschedule fee if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to start of class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Introduction to Machine Sewing
Matthew is a great teacher - knowledgeable about different sewing machines, very patient and excellent at communicating the “how” and “why” for each step. At the end of the lesson we had made our own very cool tote bags.
We actually brought my (teen) daughter’s machine that had been sitting unused on the shelf, and he taught her the lesson on her own machine. She is looking forward to returning regularly to Atomic to work on more projects.
