Class Description

Description

Develop proficiency in designing and constructing substantial ceramic structures in this intensive six-week course. Throughout the program, you'll conceptualize, draft, and build ambitious pieces of ceramic furniture. Tables, stools, sculptural lamps, and other functional art forms are well-suited to ceramic construction techniques and can be created during this course.

This extended format accommodates the natural drying and kiln-firing timeline required for larger pieces. You'll receive six weeks of dedicated studio access to work on your projects. The course fee includes one bag of clay, essential tools, and all necessary glaze materials. Additional clay can be purchased at the studio. Prior ceramic experience is required for enrollment. Practice hours outside of scheduled class time contribute toward your learning, and all work is completed within the studio.

Note: Size limit for projects is 30 inches in any direction.

Refund Policy

Please notify us 40 hours in advance so we can coordinate with our teacher to account for material prep time or if there is a waitlist.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
