Description

This course is designed to help students understand basic mathematical concepts to gain the skills and confidence to do more challenging grade-level math exercises. 

Topics include: 
  • Radical and integer exponents
  • Proportional relationships
  • Solving linear equations
  • Congruence and similarity of geometric figures 
  • Volume of cylinder, cones, and spheres

Refund Policy

There are no refunds or transfers after a class begins. Requests to withdraw from a class or transfer to another Community Services class must be done 5 OR MORE DAYS prior to the first class meeting. There is a $15 service charge per class for each refund or transfer requested. If you enrolled in a class less than 5 days prior to the first class meeting, NO refunds will be given. There are no refunds or credits for absences and late registrations are not pro-rated. Missed class meetings may not be made up in another class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
