Description

Did you know 50% of our wardrobes are made from knit fabrics? They're comfortable, versatile, wrinkle-free, and perfect year-round. With a wide variety of knit and stretch options, it's time to expand your sewing skills with these easy-to-sew fabrics!

Create your own knit fabric mini capsule featuring no side-seam pants, a versatile open-front cardigan, and tops with different necklines and sleeves. Or focus on a single garment to replenish and refresh your wardrobe. Enjoy 3 full days of hands-on sewing, instruction, fitting tips and techniques.

Learn to identify suitable fabrics for the garment being demonstrated each day, the amount and direction of the stretch which affects the fit, and examine just exactly what is good fit in a knit. Simple adjustments to the pattern ensure the garment fits your personal preference. Sample making is a must and we'll try different types of needles, thread, interfacing and stitches (crooked straight stitch) and seam finishes that work beautifully on knit and stretch fabrics. Yes, even knits can use a touch of pressing, but never without a silk organza press cloth.

Sew at your own pace, finish your garments, or leave with the confidence to finish them at home. Don't miss out on the tips and techniques to take your sewing with knits and stretch fabrics to the next level!

Refund Policy

Customers can cancel up to 6 business days before the class and receive store credit.
If a customer cancels within 6 business days of the class, the customer forfeits the cost of the class, unless a replacement fills the spot, in which case store credit will be given.
No refunds or store credit will be given after a class has begun.

No cash refunds.

To be fair to our instructors and other customers we cannot provide make-up classes for missed sessions.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
