Reviews for Kids Classes in Chicago

Kids Classes in Chicago are rated 4.8 stars based on 35 verified reviews from actual CourseHorse.com purchasers.

  • I truly enjoyed 6 wks learning more & increase my ability. I am hoping to taping into more in drawing . I to thank my grandma for giving me the opportunity & the price was right to. Thank you Mario Townsend Jr
  • Kids loved it!
  • The class was very very good, exceptional even. The course, the chef, was very hands on, gave great tips on how to cook the deep dish pizza at home with your own flare, {ie, if you don't want as much of a thick crust, to cut the time the dough stands, etc}. The only thing I have an issue with, is administration through Coursehorse. Since I register through Coursehorse, I do not get the correspondence from the school that is needed for before class via email. I;ve taken two classes with the Chopping Block, and they are trying to conserve paper by not printing out recipes and notes, and ask that we bring these to class via email. I don't get the email, and have to ask the chef after class for it, and he was gracious and kind and went in the back to print it off. However, since this seems to be an issue, not getting the correspondence, it appears to only happen when I register with Coursehorse. I would like to continue to use Coursehorse, in the future, rather than going with Chopping Block directly, for various reasons, however, it would nice if when I registered, I got the necessary materials from Chopping Block ahead of time. I do get a registration confirmation, which is nice, and a confirmation of that registration. But I don't seem to get the course materials. Just wanted to let you know. The class itself was excellent.
  • My daughter loved this class!!
  • Kenny had a great time and wants to make the foods at home.
  • Just loved it!
  • Very professional!
  • The instructor was fun and engaging, the ingredients fresh and healthy, and the food was delicious! Such a great experience for both myself and my toddler!
  • Family Program: Little Scribe | Age 5-12

    This was so much fun.
  • Summer Camp

    My kids loved circus camp!
  • Class was fun and creative and we look forward to more classes here.
  • Kids’ Leather Work

Kids Leather Working class was great; my 2 11 year olds throughly enjoyed the class, They had a number of projects and even were able to complete more than one project each. Jamie, the instructor, was reassuring and patient, and great with the kids; there were other classes on going and that provided a great opportunity for the children to see more experienced students working on more intricate projects. The supplies were plentiful, well organized and the environment was safe, engaging and very conducive to learning at different levels! Great class, my girls are talking about another class soon!
  • It was so fun! I love art. The teachers and kids were nice.
  • Foodie Adventures (4-6 years old)

It was a wonderful experience for my daughter. She says she is ready to be in a cooking show. We will definitely be going again.
