Elle is a fantastic teacher! Unfortunately I had to miss classes 2 & 3, but she was great about emailing me the materials and answering any questions I had about the instructions that I missed. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in embroidery. Elle made the class fun and made sure everyone really understood what they were doing. Looking forward to "Beyond the Basics"! PS the staff at Thr Knitting Tree are great and really helpful! -

My boyfriend and I had a blast doing the cross stitching class. I've always wanted to learn and this teacher makes learning so fun and easy! Being able to have a selection of what pattern you could do was a great idea, especially if you prefer cats over dogs (or vise versa). If you enjoy paint and wine classes then this would be right up your alley. Definitely was a great evening all around and I can't wait to do it again! -

This was such a fun class! First, the location was extremely pleasant, roomy, and with a beautiful view; food and beverages could be ordered by those who wanted them . The tables were arranged comfortably, so that everyone could see and hear the instruction. Each participant had a lamp, ensuring the right lighting for close work. Everything was well organized, all our materials were packaged neatly, and we started and ended on time. The instructor clearly was experienced both in presentation and in cross stitching. Everyone was made to feel competent, regardless of skill level. One on one assistance was available to anyone who wanted it. Everyone seemed to have fun--I know I did. I enjoyed getting to know the person next to me as we stitched. And in the end, we all went home with a really cute picture! -

The teacher was great! I got to sip my beverage of choice (sangria!) while socializing and learning, so I can't complain :) I hadn't cross stitched since I was very young, and this worked as a perfect refresher course for me. -
Sashiko Mending Workshop
I came into the class with zero sewing experience and Stacy, our instructor, made things easy for me to follow and was very hands-on. The class size was perfect (8 students) and the time allotted was enough to really get a feel for the sashiko mending technique. I would 100% recommend this class to others.
