What you'll learn in this tv writing class:

You dream of writing a killer pilot that launches you a staff job on Game Of Thrones. Or maybe you want to turn your life story into an Emmy award-winning HBO series.

Steven Peros
Veteran screenwriter and TV writer Steven Peros. He’s written for one of the first AMC Series and has sold pilots to MTV and NBC-Universal. In this five-week TV Writing Workshop, Steven will help you on your great TV idea and how to turn it into a terrific script.

Mike Ellis
Veteran screenwriter and TV writer Mike Ellis. He’s written for all the big boys, ABC, CBS and The CW and has sold pitches to DreamWorks, Working Title, Revolution Studios, Warner Brothers, Sky Dance Pictures and Universal. In this seven-week TV Writing Workshop, you’ll get Mike’s help on your great TV idea and how to turn it into a terrific script.

The class will teach you about structure, outlining and the intersection of character & conflict.

We will also cover the difference between single and multi-cam, cable and network, comedy and dramas. Instructor will also share his secrets for breaking into the business, selling shows in the room, and avoiding the rookie mistakes. By the end of the class, you’ll understand the fundamentals of TV writing, honed your pilot’s premise, tone, themes, characters, world and even written a pilot episode beat sheet.

Note: We recommend that you take this class before any of our TV Writing if you are new to TV writing or have never taken a pilot writing class.
