Ryan Brookshire

Teaches at The DC Improv

Ryan loves improv because it combines childlike joy with adult intelligence. He loves the classroom because it’s a place of adventure, growth, and incomparable fun. Bring your unique voice and come play in-the-moment with surprising choices, emotional honesty, and supportive teamwork. Ryan completed WIT’s curriculum and has taken numerous workshops through WIT, Dojo Comedy, Chinese Menu, District Improv, and LIT. He plays with WIT Harold team Not Great with Kids and indie teams Cake Bagel and Helper Pony, the latter of which he co-founded. He previously played with indie team Neighbors and WIT Harold team BLOT. Ryan has an Education degree and instructional experience in Music and Languages.
