Discover the art of Japanese marbling and bookbinding in this beginner's workshop. Learn how to create stunning marbled images and transform them into unique book covers. Unleash your creativity and take home your very own handcrafted journal or sketchbook.
This workshop is an introduction to both paper marbling and sketchbook binding. Students will learn how to create their own set of marbled prints, which will later be turned into the cover of their sketchbooks. As their designs dry, students will learn and implement a book binding technique perfect for journals, sketchbooks and planners. Each student will create one sketchbook using their favorite suminagashi prints for the cover.
No experience necessary. All materials will be included!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
