Materials and refreshments for this workshop will be provided.

The class was awesome! Aspacia Kusulas is a great teacher who knows her craft. While I wasn't expecting to learn Copperplate (this info should be included in course description), I still enjoyed the class and truly appreciated learning something new. The class and entire day was very well organized. Rachel Elnar (you are amazing!) took excellent care of everyone insuring we all had paper and ink to coffee and tea. It felt like I was working at home. The group size was just right and allowed for good interaction with the instructor. Great course for beginners and anyone interested in calligraphy. My only disappointment was that time flew by too quickly. There was so much more I wanted to learn. I will be signing up for another class.

Revisited my college architecture and design studies when Aspacia discussed the negative spaces and proportion between thick and thin strokes. Very informative! Will recommend to anyone with interest in pointed pen calligraphy beyond craft level and progressing towards art.
