Their goal is to train the dancer, former dancer, and aspiring dancer in many forms of dance styles and techniques; to encourage freedom of expression; to enable performance skills, to foster a community of dancers where each will nurture and inspire the other; to strengthen the body; and to grow the dancer: mind, body, and spirit, in a non intimidating, and non-judgmental environment.
The school opened it's doors in November 1999. Since then it has been a rising star in the Pasadena Community. They offer classes for both the beginner and the more experienced dancer; people who want to stay fit and the ones who want to get fit. The school is a studio for the community. A place where families can dance and get fit together; mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, grandparents and grandkids. They have classes for everyone! They feature some of the most regarded instructors/choreographers in the Los Angeles area. What better way to get and stay fit then do it through dance? They provide a new approach to fitness for people who choose to live a healthier lifestyle and want to have fun doing it.
Class is outside in the open air warehouse garage type building and during hot days it is tooo hot. Not a bad beginner class, but I find most classes aren't really beginner friendly you need to have a general fitness level and it is too fast for me to follow along.
Awesome class! My kids loved it.
Friendly staff. My kids enjoyed their class. We will be back for another class.
The class was amazing. It wasn't too big so it was easy to feel comfortable around everyone. The instructor taught well - I went in with literally no experience and picked up on everything (and I've never taken a dance course before so I'm not a natural trust me). The studio was very friendly and welcoming, all of them introducing me to themselves when I got there. 10/10 recommend. Definitely going back.
Love the atmosphere & the teacher
This is the BEST class. The choreography is stimulating but adaptable to different levels, the teacher is great, the students are excited and committed. I love it.
I had great time. Thanks!
It was hip hop biginner class w/jazz , and it was really fun . We started w/yoga and jazz style stretch out . The class was teach step by step w/movement. The instructor was professional and fun way to leading the group of peoples. I wish it's more close to where I'm living, cuz driving to studio was hour and a half.
The class was good. But I think one should have some prior background in similar kind of dancing to enjoy this class because, you are just expected to follow the choreography by observing the instructor and others in the class.
Loved it!! Teacher was great! Will do it again
