You'll learn all you need to know to take clothes apart and put them back together, so that they fit like you want and have the style you love. This sewing class is sew fun!
No prior experience is required, but doing Sewing 101 or equivalent will make it easier to focus on the garment work.
Give the clothes in your closet a new life!
Let's save the world and UPCYCLE, Tailor and Repair.
Tailoring: Improving the fit of the clothes
Alterations: Changing the appearance, character, or structure of clothes
Upcycling: Transforming an existing garment into a fresh new style
Repairs: Fixing or mending your beloved garments
Bring in any projects that you would like assistance in learning how to alter
We provide all the tools, machines, and cutting space you'll need, and Anastasia will be there to help and guide you every step of the way. Just bring in the garments you want to alter and any additional fabric, trim, and matching threads you want to use on them. If you need garments to practice on, go to a thrift store and pick some up (so cheap!).
