Gifted my wife this class for her birthday and we both had a great time. Chef Vic was very personable, informative, and fun. He not only gave instructions clearly and easy to understand, he also explained why each step was important. We definitely would love to take another class!

It was a good class and a friendly group. The chef/ teacher was fun. The ingredients were of great quality. The only negative was that the location was a bit weird for a cooking class.
  • A Taste of Thailand: Pad See Ew & Papaya Salad (For Two People)

My boyfriend and I had such a great time at this class! Saruj was an amazing instructor-- so organized with clear instructions, and hilarious, which set a really great tone for the class. We both felt like we could replicate what we learned at home and are so excited to make delicious pad see ew and papaya salad on our own.

  • Hand Rolled Cavatelli Pasta

Leo was very kind and fun but this class needs to be held in a kitchen setting, not in the event space of a bar where there is no accessible sink. Leo makes an amazing tomato sauce!
  • Fresh Handmade Pasta

The pasta was great and the chef was knowledgable but the atmosphere was not good. It was in the back of the Fairfield Inn, the room smelled like cigarette smoke with cheap plastic cutlery and table cloths. We had to share the room with guests from the hotel who were eating their own meals.

To begin I wanted to say that it was fun and I learned some new things. But at the beginning it was all very chaotic. Also we thought the sips were gonna be more. But overall it was a great experience!

  • Make Your Own Focaccia Bread & Ricotta Cheese

Reviewed by Victoria H. on 2/12/2025
This class was ok, I liked the instructor and he did a good job explaining things however, we did not make focaccia bread. We made something closer to a cheese tart. I was hoping to learn the process of making focaccia so I can do it at home but walked away learning a recipe I’ll probably never make again. The instructor mentioned why he chose this sort of tart for the class because we’d have to wait 6 hours for the focaccia dough to rise and ultimately wouldn’t be able to eat our own creation, because most classes swap out pre-made dough that has already risen. It was fun but probably wouldn’t have gone if it was correctly advertised.

Carolyn was so lovely! She explained everything perfectly and was so helpful throughout the class. I especially loved hearing her story and how she got to where she is now. The drinks were also very tasty!! My one issue was the location, as there were some noisy bar patrons hanging out at the bar in the lobby. But still it was a great class!

Chef Vic was awesome and so willing to answer every question. He gave individual instruction when necessary. Very fun class
  • Make Your Own Sushi

Reviewed by Juliana G. on 2/9/2025
Chef Vic was awesome! Super knowledgeable and genuinely cared about making the experience great. We tried his sushi-making class, and it did not disappoint. He explained everything in a way that was easy to follow and made sure everyone was having a good time. Even when I totally messed up on my first try, he didn’t make me feel bad—he just guided me through my second roll and made it fun. On top of that, the whole group was super fun and cool, and we ended up making new friends along the way. It was such a great experience and an all-around amazing time. We’re already looking forward to trying his Pad Thai and dumpling-making class next. Highly recommend!

  • Handmade Ricotta Ravioli

Reviewed by Stephanie L. on 1/29/2025
Learning how to make pasta for the first time is something that you should do in person, not just by reading a cookbook or watching a video. I liked that the teacher, Tomasso, was very good at explaining and showing us exactly how the pasta dough should feel (too wet or too dry?), how to knead it, how to put the dough into the pasta machine, etc. etc. He was very informative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. And the resulting ravioli with ricotta, butter and sage were delicious! My only complaint was that the course had too many students (about 30?). Some had to wait a long time to get Tomasso's attention, or to use the half-dozen pasta machines, or to get your ravioli cooked.
