Ally works as both a Casting Director and Associate Casting Director and has been a casting professional for over fifteen years, working in both film and television.
She's cast TV series like AMERICAN HORROR STORY, JANE THE VIRGIN (CW), WARRIOR NUN (Netflix), MURDERVILLE (Netflix), HALT AND CATCH FIRE (AMC), and we're excited to have her in teaching this online intensive focused on auditioning and booking guest star roles for television series and pilots.
Ally will assist you in connecting auditioning as an opportunity to do what you love to do: act. Trouble shooting what's in your way and working with you on developing strategies for your next auditions.
The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group.
Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
What to prepare:
- For this event, please bring in your own TV scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor.
- Please email [email protected] your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.
Please follow the procedures listed below:- The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
