This course examines all aspects of upholstered furniture as an integral part of an interior. Learn the components of upholstered seating and how famous interior designers have combined these features to create classic styles. Examine the inner workings of upholstered furniture to see how the construction impacts comfort and longevity. Explore a range of upholstery materials, cushion and frame shapes, all about finishing touches such as trimming and decorative pillows.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
