Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification course (5-days, M-F 8am-4:30pm)

The course is full of games, videos, and other active learning. We will be using simulations to learn the importance of data and statistics when solving a process problem. You will learn powerful root cause analysis tools as well as using Minitab as a statistical analysis tool throughout the course. The instructors will keep you engaged and excited! At the end of the course, the Master Black Belt Instructor will give you the tools to complete your Six Sigma Green Belt Certification project quickly and effectively.

- The SIPOC Diagram (Verify Your Project Focus)
- Learn How to use Value Stream Mapping to Quickly Identify Waste in the Process
- Developing the X-Map (or Input Map) to Discover the Key Inputs to Your Process)
- Developing the Cause and Effects Matrix to Prioritize Key Inputs
- How to Complete the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to Manage Risk
- Brush up on Basic Statistics
- Learn the Basic Graphical Stats Tools (Pareto Charts, Boxplots, Scatter Plots)
- How to Define your Processes Capability in Metrics
- How to Turn a Practical Question into a Statistical Question (or Hypothesis)
- How to Understand the Statistical Relationship between two variables
- How to Control Your Process using SPC (Statistical Process Control)
There are two options to become a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Option #1: Complete a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt level project using the tools, methodology and roadmap provided by Six Sigma Development Solutions, Inc.
- If you are completing the project as a team of potential Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, you will also be required to pass a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification exam.
- One of our Master Black Belt mentors must verify that your project meets the requirements for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
Option #2: Pass the International Association for Six Sigma Certification’s (IASSC) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam
The IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam™ is a 100 question, closed book, proctored exam with a three-hour allotted time. The Exam contains approximately 20 multiple-choice and true/false questions from each major section of the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge
If you choose the Lean Six Sigma project option for certification:
We will help you before, during and after the course to complete your certification project.
- Before the course, our Master Black Belt instructors will help you to identify a project that will help you to effectively learn the tools and methodology of Lean Six Sigma and earn your certification in less than three months.
