In this course, you will develop the critical skills needed to refine your television pilot script, learning how to sharpen your narrative focus, eliminate unnecessary elements, perfect dialogue exchanges, and intensify action sequences.
You will also explore how integrating thematic elements throughout your pilot elevates the overall quality of your work and positions you competitively in the television industry. The instructor will guide you through crafting compelling character introductions, writing impactful opening scenes, and polishing your first draft into a professional script ready for industry consideration.
Note: For students in the TV certificate program, this class can satisfy the requirement for one private script consultation.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of TV 2, TV Drama 2, or TV Comedy 2 at Writing Pad (required with no exceptions), or current professional experience having sold a pilot or worked on a television show.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
