Referred to as the founder of "POP cuisine," Davide Oldani is the chef and owner of Ristorante D'O, an affordable, Michelin-star eatery in Cornaredo, Italy (just outside Milan). In the last two years, he also opened FOO'D by Davide Oldani in Singapore, a "Cucina Pop" restaurant located at the Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall. His philosophy of POP cuisine aims for accessibility to a broad audience, in terms of both taste and cost. He has certainly accomplished this — being one of the most affordable Michelin-starred restaurants in the world — with an 18-month waiting list.
