  • [Digital Canvas] Millennial Mash Up

Reviewed by KAZ F. on 11/29/2018
It was a lot of fun. I never really painted in my life but I was able to enjoy it. The teacher guides you through in a good pace and it is easy to follow each step. Sipping on a wine also helped me to relax and I could paint without any hesitation. It was therapeutic, too. And I was happy about the result. I was actually proud of my first painting. I will go back again.

Best Paint & Sip Classes Online

Do you want to learn how to paint? An online paint and sip class may be a good place for you to start your artistic journey. A unique form of self-expression that dates back to prehistory, painting is a method of artistic expression in which paint, pigment, color, or another medium is applied to a solid surface. While a brush is most often used to apply paint, other tools like knives, spatulas, sponges, and airbrushes can be used alone or in combination with brushes. “Painting” as a word is used to both describe the action that creates and the end product itself. A “paint and sip” class is a gathering at which people learn to paint while enjoying a glass of wine or another alcoholic beverage, and sometimes finger foods or small plates. Everyone can learn to paint by attending a paint and sip class.

Why You Should Take a Paint & Sip Class Online

If you want a new hobby that will help you relieve stress or simply give you something to do in your free time, learning painting at an online paint and sip class might be the answer. You may find that you enjoy the part of painting that allows you to create something for another person as well. Your next painting could wind up being a special gift that a loved one can hang in their home, or you could pay for a loved one to attend the paint and sip class with you. Either option is the perfect way to show you care about them on their next birthday, or just in general.

There is a large community of paint and sip lovers across the globe, and making contact with them has never been easier thanks to the internet. These can be people who attend paint and sip as a hobby, or even people who paint professionally that use paint and sip to relax. Once you have a basic understanding of what paint and sip is, you may want to research local clubs, groups, events, or organizations where you can meet other people who like paint and sip. Groups like this can offer you the opportunity to create a new social circle.

If you are looking for your next side hustle, you may develop a passion for painting after taking a paint and sip class. Being able to paint is a marketable skill that you can turn into a part-time job, or even a new job entirely. You have the option of selling your paint and sip paintings through an online marketplace, or in-person at a craft fair near where you live. You could even begin taking commissions, where you create custom paintings based on the requests of your customers.

Virtual Paint & Sip Classes

Taking an online paint and sip class might seem daunting at first, but much like in-person paint and sip classes, they have their pros and cons. One good thing about taking a virtual paint and sip class is that you can attend it from anywhere, meaning you can work on your project in the comfort of your own home or wherever you are comfortable. You also do not have to commute to a classroom, which saves both money and time. The biggest con about taking an online paint and sip class is that you generally have to supply your own materials.

If you are interested in online paint and sip classes, CourseHorse has many different class options. For example, Paint and Sip: Beginner’s Acrylic Painting is an online high quality live video class that will teach you how to make art from the comfort of your own home. Grab your favorite glass of wine or hot beverage and learn how to create a beautiful painting that will make you feel proud.

Fall Themed Paint & Sip Acrylic Painting for Beginners invites you to relax over art in an easy, stress-free setting. An experienced artist will guide you through the steps to create your painting, and you will explore your inner creative self.

Mother’s Day Paint Party is a great way to get creative in a virtual setting while making a gift for mom that she will be able to keep forever. This easy step by step class will teach you how to create a beautiful painting of a flower bouquet in a fun, relaxed setting.

Paint and Sip: Rose Colored Glasses is a paint and sip class where you will show your appreciation for New York City. You will learn how to paint this iconic skyline in a step by step setting and grow your admiration for the greatest city in the world

Paint and Sip: Drip Too Hard (Virtual) is a paint and sip class in which you will learn how to paint a colorful yet profoundly drippy face. Choose to make it a self-portrait or make up an entirely new person or reasoning behind your work.

Mingle and Learn is a virtual paint and sip class for students who have some previous experience with collage or mixed media. This class is intended for those who would like to use these skills while socializing and learning new strategies.

Private Online Group Paint & Sip Classes

If you have a business or organization that could benefit from a paint and sip class as a fun team-building event, CourseHorse has paint and sip classes for private groups that they can deliver to you. If you do not see a group class that interests you listed publicly on their website, CourseHorse can provide a different class for your group. Reach out through the contact form on their website to learn about all available options. When you book with CourseHorse, it is important to remember that you get a multitude of benefits, including the ability to change your group size after booking if necessary. You will also receive a confirmation within 24 hours of your booking, and there are no extra booking fees. Finally, CourseHorse private group classes are supported on multiple platforms, so everyone can join in on the fun no matter where they are.

Online vs. In-Person Paint & Sip Classes

If you choose to take an online paint and sip class, be aware that you are most likely going to have to purchase your own materials. Your instructor should provide you with a list of everything you need to buy before the class begins. But you will not have to commute like you would with an in-person class, and you will still receive invaluable feedback from an expert instructor. You may not be able to touch and feel their work to get a sense of what you can improve, but you will be taught by someone who has professional experience in painting, which can make all the difference in your experience.
