Tai chi is an ancient Chinese health exercise that promotes your vitality, structural balance, mental balance, strength and longevity. Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that is now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions.
Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.
Utilizing specific breathing techniques and slow, precise physical movements helps to prevent many ailments.
The short form, yang style tai chi that used, is 12 single forms put together. In each class, work with single forms that build one on another, until the 12 single forms are complete. A relaxing and low impact exercise, Tai Chi improves concentration and mind/body awareness.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
