What you'll learn in this writing class:

This one-day introduction to art writing allows you to articulate the unique nature of your own photographic practice. It is ideal for those who are building a website or submitting applications for grants, residencies, colleges, or graduate schools, and may be uncomfortable writing about their work.

Through in-class exercises, students will use myriad writing strategies and techniques to craft a creatively and clearly written statement, and leave with that statement in hand.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy
In the event a student must cancel their registration for a workshop, they may do so any time before and up to 14 days prior to the workshop, and will receive a 100% refund of workshop cost plus any material fees. In the event a student must cancel attendance from a workshop after the registration deadline (14 days prior to the start of the workshop), this will be considered a withdrawal. The workshop costs and materials fees are not refundable but a 20% discount will be given toward another workshop.

There are situations that arise in which a workshop may need to be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation, students will be notified as soon as possible. Students are entitled to a full refund for the workshop cost and materials fee up to one week prior to workshop. A credit can also be given in the amount paid for the class to use at a later date.
