Creatively Wild is a locally owned small business in DUMBO, founded by international artist Donna Maree Wilding, better known to all as DM! The studio was the very first original Art School in the area and our doors have been open since 2009. We originally ran out of a small basement studio on Dumbo’s Plymouth Street and grew in scope mostly by word of mouth. Now, the studio is located in a gorgeous light airy space right around the corner on Water Street. We are blessed to be serving our beloved community of DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Vinegar Hill, Cobble Hill, Park Slope, Downtown Brooklyn, Lower Manhattan, Tribeca, the Financial District, Seaport + beyond!

How our group Art Classes run:

Our Classes run according to our seasonal studio calendar and are offered with a week to week curriculum at discounted rate. We recommend wherever possible to join a full class course to see any real progress in your preferred medias. All full class courses are offered with a slight discount. We also offer single day sign up options for those who wish to try out a class, please note single day sign ups are meant as trial classes, so please manage your expectation as a single class in no way represents a full class course.

Private Art Classes:

Offered for all age groups + levels in the media of your own choice: Adult- Kids, Teen, Toddlers. Private Art Lessons can be booked according to your own preference of date + time, offered by the hour and in discounted packages for individuals or small groups.

Walk in Policies:

While we welcome last minute sign ups & walk ins (numbers permitting), if you have not registered & show up at our studio wanting to join a class or camp, you will be required to fill out a class or camp waiver upon arrival. This is mandatory, even if you attended before or we know you! Filling out the Class or Camp waiver takes a few minutes & will affect your class or camp start time, so we strongly advise registering on our website prior to arrival. Be mindful of other students or campers- Drop off is busy with temperature checks & role call so please help us by registering in advance on our website. We thank you for your cooperation during this challenging time.

Please note during the ongoing crisis, anyone attending an in-person Class, Camp, or any other event or activity held in our studio must adhere to CDC & NY Safety guidelines.

Notes:

Health + Safety Updates:

• The wearing of Masks + face coverings are now optional for all staff + students for all classes and events.
• Those who prefer to wear a face covering in class are encouraged to do so. *Therefore please do not assume that those wearing a mask are unvaccinated. 
• Students + staff, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask when:
• Returning to CWAS on the sixth day after testing positive for COVID-19, through day 10 after symptom onset or date of positive test, whichever is earlier.
• Exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
• Students + staff, regardless of vaccination status, are strongly recommended to wear a mask: 
• When they were exposed to someone with COVID-19, whether the exposure occurred in the studio or outside the studio. The person should wear a mask for 10 days after their last day of exposure and get tested at least 24 hours apart on day 4 and day 5 of their exposure. 
• When they are moderately to severely immunocompromised and masking is recommended by their healthcare provider.
• We will continue to ask students NOT to attend our programs when exhibiting any symptoms of illnesses that would be contagious.
  

Health + Safety Practices: 

• We continue to ask anyone attending our programs and events to follow best practices when it comes to general health + safety protocols.
• Pick-up + drop-off personnel must remain outside the studio to help reduce traffic at our studio + keep everyone safe! If you have anyone picking you up please let them know to collect you outside the studio.
• Thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols will remain in effect throughout our studio.
• We continue to ask students to follow good hygiene habits, including the use of hand sanitizer. Hand-sanitizing stations will remain throughout our studio.
• We encourage all students to wash their hands upon entry to the studio and to use hand sanitizer.
• We continue to ask students to be respectful + kind to each other at all times.
