Edie Dourleijn, the Founder, considers the kitchen to be her playground and invites everybody to play along with her.

How it started

As a native Dutch, Edie grew up on the home cooked trinity of boiled potatoes, boiled vegetables and some meat. It was only after she left home for college, that Edie started to cook and began exploring all the wonderful foods of other cuisines. Sharing her successes, and yes, also her failures in the kitchen, Edie became one of the first food bloggers of the Netherlands.

To learn everything possible about cooking, she attended culinary school and started to teach home cooks all the fun and interesting things she had learned to others. From private one-on-one lessons to larger team building events or private cooking parties, Edie wants everyone to have a great time in the kitchen.
