What you'll learn in this excel class:

Macros, collaboration, security are the foundations of this advanced Excel class. You will learn about different scenarios and how to use what if analysis. 

Advanced functions and much more are also covered:

  • Using IF, SUMIF, and COUNTIF to process data based on rules
  • Using the VLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH functions to find data in related worksheets
  • Auditing: how to find errors using tracing, IFERROR, and other functions
  • Defining arrays and using array functions to work with groups of data
  • Advanced functions for manipulating dates, times, text

This course builds on the concepts and skills of our Excel Intermediate course to provide advanced tools for solving real-worl problems in Excel: lookup and decision-making functions, auditing and error-handling, array functions, date and text functions, importing and exporting, the Power Pivot Data Model, what-if analysis, and macros.

You will benefit the most from this course if you want to use Excel to perform real-world tasks such as getting information from large amounts of data from sources inside and outside of Excel, creating output that varies according to conditions, manipulating dates and text, and automating repetitive tasks.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a class, it's usually no problem. We will move you to a different session, or give you a full refund as long as you give us at least 7 days' notice. We charge $25 for any reschedule, $50 for reschedules with fewer than 72 hours' notice, and $100 for reschedules with fewer than 24 hours' notice (or no-shows)
Students may withdraw from any course (except when they have late-rescheduled) after instruction has started within 2 hours and receive a full refund, provided the reason for their withdrawal is dissatisfaction with the course. In the case of multi-day and multi-evening courses, students may withdraw after any session before the course's half-way point and receive pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the tuition.
