Alexandra (Alexx) Shilling

Alexx is fully committed to the infinite investigation of movement and its potential to tell stories and allow us to remember. After 6 years as founder and director of RADIANT PILATES and the RADIANT MOVEMENT Studios, as co-Artistic Director of ann and alexx make dances and teaching at Peridance Center, Alexx has relocated to Los Angeles to get her MFA in Dance from UCLA and continue deepening her investigations along with you. Alexx received her Pilates certification in 2000 and found an open doorway into mind/body practices and strategies. She holds certifications in Maureen Fleming Technique and Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga and is informed by her studies in Idiokinesis, Kundalini and Anusara Yoga, Ohad Naharin’s Gaga, Feldenkreis, and Gyrotonic.
