Jena Bailey

Teaches at The Moving Joint

Jena discovered Gyrotonic in her search for an exercise system that would condition her body for ballet. She found that Gyrotonic increased her flexibility and strength in a coordinated way that felt like dancing. She loves teaching Gyrotonic because it allows her to share the experience of movement with others. She enjoys guiding others with information that can help them move more fluidly and freely. Jena is a certified Level 1 Gyrotonic instructor. She trained with Authorized Master Trainer Debra Rose while at the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program. She has also trained with Authorized Master Trainers Sebastian Plettenberg and Angela Crowley, and Master Trainer Barbara Schwarz. Jena taught Gyrotonic at Angel City Body Kinetics for two years and has worked with clients of varied skill levels. She recently got her B.A. in Spanish at UCLA and plans to earn her Doctor in Physical Therapy. Jena enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of movement to help others with their fitness goals, and is thrilled to be at The Moving Joint.
