Draping 101
Jenn was a great instructor. She is very patient and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed her instruction. I recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to create a sloper and learn about draping. The course list was not up to date when I signed up. Note that you will need to purchase a manequinn, hip curve, and tracing wheel and you will need a soft surface to place under the pattern when using your tracing wheel. I also recommend a cutting board. You also need to have a sewing machine (or be willing to sew by hand). There is only homework between the 3rd and 4th classes during which you will use the sewing machine. -

Felt Therapy: Felting Class
We did not know what to expect, but boy were we pleasantly surprised. The class was very informative and a lot of fun. The hosts were very engaging and helped us along at every step of the process. They've spent a lot of time creating this process and have had quite the journey to it. The materials provided a great range of colors and patterns and no one's vase looked the same! Great mother-daughter activity and would take more classes with Ingrid and Gayle! 10/10 -
Art Workshop (Thursday)
I have seriously enjoyed learning from Raphael for the past 3 sessions. I went in with very limited knowledge about drawing technique, and feel as though through Raphaels teaching and guidance, and the time provided by these lessons, I have gained a new passion. Raphael is very encouraging and makes the 2 1/2 hours something to truly look forward to. It is perfectly structured, with a focus on the project you're working on, then a short break to socialize and show sketches we've drawn throughout the week. Everyone I've met in the three sessions is so nice and talented, although it is a completely beginner friendly atmosphere. Raphael has a lot of repeat students who have been learning from him for years, which is a testament to his great teaching style. Overall a really lovely experience and I'd love to continue learning from Raphael in the future! Would highly recommend this class. -

She provided notes after the class for those who want to remember the details of the discussion, which was extensive. I look forward to taking the next class. Very good value, too. I’ve been looking for a stone carving class for a while. I’m so glad I found this one. First, the Compleat Sculpture is an amazing place.The entire staff is so nice and knowledgeable. The quarry took my breath away. My teacher Alex is amazing. I learned so much the first day about the nuances of each tool. He helped me every step. He’s so knowledgeable and kind. I love my class . I can’t recommend Alex enough. -
