This class will prepare you to write a feature length movie. If you're looking for TV writing classes, click here.
What do Christopher Nolan, Darron Aronofsky and Richard Linklater have in common? They broke into the biz by writing and producing a feature film for under $30,000. In this three-hour screenwriting seminar, indy writer and director Steven Peros, whose microbudget feature, Footprints, was released in six cities and was hailed as “One of the 10 Best Films of the Year,” takes you through the do’s and don’ts of developing a microbudget screenplay you can produce with available resources. Through informative craft talks, fun in-class writing exercises and balanced feedback you’ll form your idea with an eye to what you’re passionate about, potential locations, collaborators or fundraising approaches and leave with an executable movie concept! Sundance Grand-Jury Prize not included.
