James Allgrove heads up US East Coast Growth for Stripe, the leading payment processing solution for internet businesses. He moved to New York in 2017 to set up Stripe's New York office which is now over 100 people and home to Stripe's new product teams. Previously, he set up and managed Stripe's UK operations and London office, scaling the team and growing the UK business to become Stripe's largest international market. He joined Stripe before there was a sales team and helped scale sales at Stripe from 0 to over 300 people today.

Stripe was founded in 2011 with initial funding from the famed startup accelerator Y Combinator. They have a valuation of over $35 billion, making them one of the most valuable private companies in the world. Stripe employs over 2,500 people worldwide and serves millions of businesses of all sizes.
