Sasha Soreff

Teaches at 92nd Street Y

Sasha Soreff is the creative director of Sasha Soreff Dance Theater, which has been presenting work in New York and New England since 2002, including at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, Dixon Place, HERE, Clarkson University, Long Island University, Fridays at Noon at 92nd Street Y, University Settlement, and on WNET’s MetroArts Television Station. Sasha has served on faculty at Dance New Amsterdam since 2000, and has served as a teaching assistant to kinesthetic anatomist Irene Dowd. She danced with Isabel Gotzkowsky and Friends from 1998-2004. A Maine native, Sasha attended North Carolina School of the Arts and Barnard College.
