Great tutorial on how to make Graffiti Art. The instructor helped us to understand how to think freely and let your artist juices flow. Really enjoyed playing with spray paint. It’s not as easy as you would think. -

What a great and necessary class on female influence on the Ab-Ex movement. Love the Art History lecture and the materials we used. I'm a huge Lee Krasner fan and I'm so glad I found a place that does such cool events like this. -

This class was such an enjoyable experience from the picking our paint colors to filling our balloons to then actual shooting of the balloons which ultimately lead to creation of our show pieces! This class was a 2nd date idea and our show pieces are now hung in our respective apartments. It’s such sweet memory every time It catches my attention. A great experience with incredible person. I highly recommend! -

Wonderful class, great teachers & guidance - however quite pricey. I would come to more individual classes if the pricing and schedule were more flexible with the course. Hard to justify $80 for one night of painting when most pieces take several nights to complete. -

To sum up the class up front: I am very glad I took this class and would highly recommend it! I would consider myself an 'intermediate' level abstract painter, but, this is the first class I ever took on the subject, and learned a lot. Maya was the instructor of the class, and she is very knowledgeable and is a great teacher. She would start the class off by explaining techniques using pictures that are in books of various famous abstract painters, and she even went out of her way and brought in a book by Salvador Dali who I had mentioned is one of my favs. She was able to tailor the class for me to subject matters that I felt I needed work on. We started off the course painting smaller pieces (like 4" x 6" and 6" x 9") for the first few days, then started in on the larger canvas that I bought. As I worked on each piece she would check out the painting and offer constructive criticism and give very helpful suggestions as to what each piece needed. And don't let the studios "World's Longest" (my phrase, lol) Liability/Covid Waiver turn you away. Yes, it is long, but class is great, and staff is friendly. So yeah, excellent class, and I am planning to sign up again in the near future to further my skills, and would recommend you sign up. -
