  • Excellent class with a great teacher!
  • Great class and teacher. My daughters and I really loved the class.
  • I had such a fun time in the class! The instructor was super nice and helpful, and my finished bralette came out great.
  • Ms. Chloe, is everything! The course was so much fun, memorable, easy instruction from the instructor! It was a pleasure meeting others and hearing their experiences of coming back for other workshops. I definitely left with a cute completed project and felt watch out Victoria Secrets for The Sewing Center.
  • Great fun, great, patient, lovely instructor!
  • Enjoyed the class and learned new helpful tips I look forward to using. Instructor was quite knowledgeable and patient!
  • Such a fun class. I learned a ton, the instructor was great, the other students great. All around i loved it and can't wait to keep learning more and more. (And it wasn't bad on video at all.)
  • Really lovely, thorough and thoughtful class. Very well organized and teacher was so prepared and engaged.
  • Very informative.
  • This was a wonderful class The instructor was patient and very knowledgeable. My fascinator is beautiful.
  • I love my professor, therefore I love the class. There are always amazing master illustrators in this classes and I am always inspired.
  • This is a fabulous fun activity with a master milliner. Lisa is so talented and knowledgable, and will soon have you creating a beautiful custom fascinator. She is an excellent teacher and takes time to explain things and listen to what you as a client want. She also is a very kind lady. I went home with a beautiful fascinator and happy memories. Thank you so much, Lisa! A++++
  • This was an experience I will never forget, Professor Broadway is not just a great teacher but he is an amazing person. I want to take more classes with Professor Broadway.
  • Love it should be longer classes.
  • Loved this class! If this is something you’re interested in then you will get a lot out of this. Professor was so sweet and knowledgeable. The class flew by! I wish there was more time!
  • Hard to imagine a more knowledgeable instructor for this subject! Definitely a class aimed at people who work in a fabric or fiber related industry--- personally I would have loved a little more on the history or economics of various fabrics, but I think that would maybe fall under a different class heading. I would highly recommend this class and this instructor (Lisa Kesselman) for anyone who wants practical knowledge for use in industry or design.
  • Wonderful instructor!
  • The professor is so talented and a fabulous teacher!
  • I was a bit nervous to take this class because I'm very much a beginner at drawing in general, let alone fashion drawing. But it was a very laid-back environment, and Professor Broadway was so encouraging of everyone, no matter our skill levels. I had so much fun and was sad when the last class ended! I also learned a ton from both the professor and other students in the class, some of whose work was very inspiring. I definitely plan to keep up with this new hobby, and might take the class again next year. Would definitely recommend it!
  • I absolutely loved this class! Working with professor Broadway is the best. He is so knowledgeable and he creates such a relaxing atmosphere. The class flies by and you’re left amazed by how much you’ve learned.
  • Fashion Illustrator Steven Broadway leads these 2 session 6-hour fashion drawing marathon as an opportunity for drawers of all levels to practice and improve their skills. All skill levels are accommodated as he offers drawing introductions for newbies and guides veteran artist to strengthen their skill. Broadway usually has 2 - 3 live models with an array of fashion clothing to help ignite your illustrating imagination. Music plays throughout to help charge and relax the atmosphere depending on the time of hour. The whole block is dedicated to drawing. Time goes by so quickly you don't feel the 6 hours. There is a regular set of attendees so the class is always energized and ready to draw for the entire duration. There is a scheduled break to share work and learn from others' style. This is a great way to get drawing and technique ideas. If you have taken Professor Broadway's Fashion and Accessory Illustration courses this live model practice is your next step. The price has doubled but this is due to tuition increase by FIT. I purposefully save up so I can attend. Its worth it.
  • I found this class very useful and relevant to my needs. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer.
  • The class was excellent. The professor exceeded my expectations for what a beginner Fabrics class would entail. Glad there are professors and organizations/colleges such as FIT offering these classes.

  • Incredible course. Betsy is extremely knowledgeable, dynamic, and positive. She kept the course high energy throughout and everything we learned was truly enriching.
  • Always love taking the class because of the instructor. I just did not like that the course doubled the price abruptly and has the same amount of classes. There should be 1 more session added.
  • Awesome class!
  • Mikelle is a great instructor. Her teaching style is fun and informative and she had great industry examples. She answered all of my questions. I will definitely take a future course with her if she is the instructor!
  • After Workshop: Advanced Pompom Techniques

This class was great ! The teacher was flexible - showing both basics and advanced techniques - definitely would take again !
