  • This was a really fun class for my teenage daughter and I to take together!
  • The class is very well much fun and enjoyable. The instructor was very well prepared and he conducted the class with humor and enthusiasm. My partner and I enjoyed kneading the pizza dough and learning the cutting techniques. Finalizing the pizza with sauce and cheese and seeing it come out steaming hot from the oven makes the experience unforgettable.
  • Great experience! The croissants were delicious and the instructor was super knowledgeable. Would definitely do another class there!
  • The chef was great!!!
  • Great class! Highly recommend as a jumping off point if you’re interested in getting more into baking, or just want a fun afternoon!
  • Class was real good had fun groups then split up for just you and your partner, i will say you dont make the filling just an fyi, and all steps/ingredients sent via email after the class it was a fun experience will be signing up for more
  • The teacher was very knowledgeable and patient as well as encouraging. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • The instructor made the learning experience so fun and wonderful.
  • Great instruction, fun and entertaining.
  • Lovely class, great teacher. I like how she showed us different techniques and allowed you to practice and showcase your decorated cake. They need to redo the space because it’s too tight. I like the 20% off coupon after class
  • This was a great class! The evening was well structured and class size was small so there was ample opportunity to ask questions. I learned a lot and can't wait to try on my own.
  • Instructor was amazing! Loved this class!
  • Instructor was very good. We got a lot of good information and it wasn’t just practicing a little in the kitchen or just following a recipe
  • I really enjoyed the class. The explanation was clear, the chef clearly knew what they were doing and about the what was named for the food. Though I would have used different ingredients because of food preferences but overall it was fun.
  • It was incredible! Macarons came out amazing, almost worth the value of the class just for those. Chef was super cool, not pretentious, and very knowledgeable - she could talk to a total novice or an expert, without making anyone feel left out.
  • I had so much fun and learned a ton! Halo was a great instructor. She was very clear about her step by step instructions. 10/10 would recommend.
  • Surprised me as it was an easier class than I expected (though I need practice with my dough rolling techniques) We made two different fried doughnuts with jelly and nutella fillings. Chef Samantha was friendly, answered by questions and provided hands-on assistance.
  • It was amazing!! Definitely will recommend it for anyone who wants to go solo or with a group of friends
  • So fun! And you get 4 delicious croissants each at the end
  • The course was extremely thorough with great handouts. We went through everything from best tools to best ingredients. A bonus was taking home our own sourdough bread as well as tasting a few varieties.
  • This was such a fun class. I am surprised by how easy Beignets are to make, and you can make them at home. You actually learn how to make these from raw materials/ingredients. The instructor is super nice and goes around to each table, so there's an opportunity for personalized instruction, too. Would recommend for those that want to be able to make something sweet at home from scratch, and not too complicated.
  • Had a lot of fun with this instructor! The donut making class is very good, and you actually leave with a full dozen (or more - they give you a block of dough and you can make large or small doughnuts. You can also shape them how you like!) The space is super comfortable and bright, and I'm really glad we went with this class.
  • The instructor was really fun to work with. She also gave us some great tips and tricks and insights. She also gave us some great recipes.
  • The instructor did a great job. She was thorough in her explanation and demonstration of technique. She interacted with everyone in the class making sure we understood what needed to be done. Would definitely take another class with this instructor.
  • Love the class, the instructor did a great job helping the entire class . My question is there a class for frosting mixing and more cake design
  • It was truly a fun experience Great teacher
  • I loved the class! Planning next one
  • Such a fun class! Mukti was so kind and knowledgable, and we had a great time. The food was delicious, and fully vegan!
  • This class was all we hoped it would be and more! Chef Susan was a terrific instructor and guide every step of the way. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed. We were given ample flavor choices for our bagels (we opted for our favorites…everything and cinnamon raisin). We also made 2 flavors of soft pretzels (salted and cinnamon sugar). Towards the end of class, we sat at their dining table to taste our creations. Chef Susan even prepared a special selection of smoked salmon, sliced tomatoes, onions, capers, cream cheese & butter to enhance our savory bagels. Everything was delicious! Bonus, there were plenty to take home with us. I recommend this class to everyone and can’t wait to take another class with Home Cooking New York. Their menu of classes is extensive!
  • Absolutely a fantastic experience. The instructor was kind and attentive, which is not easy since we were a full class! Was very adept at answering questions from the entire group, although I think I asked the most! LOL! I think I will wind up taking this class a second time to practice the techniques that I learned. I've already signed up for the cake certificate course!
  • I absolutely loved it.
  • We had a great time! The instructor was very knowledgeable. I think the two of us thought it might be a little more of a social experience, but it was certainly very informative and everything tasted great!
  • The class was great! We learned so much and had a great time doing it. Went home with a starter and a baked loaf!
  • What a great class! Dasha, the teacher, gave us a helpful, easy lesson for how to recreate our own icing. She was very experienced in all things decorating and helped each of us not only learn but also leave with a beautiful product. Also, THE CAKE WAS DELICIOUS! Absolutely signing up for additional classes. High recommend.
  • Chef Samantha was very funny, attentive and helpful. She shared many useful tips that could be applied to baking outside of just croissants (IE - different temperatures for gas v convention ovens and proofing in a home oven). Walked away feeling really confident about baking croissants on my own and had a blast during the class. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
  • Fun class; delicious pastries. 10/10.
  • So much fun and I learned a lot!
  • It was great and Emily was a kind and helpful instructor. The time went by fast and maybe it could have been 30 min longer. It's tough to jutify that from a financial perspective though. It felt fast paced to get everthing baked in time (could be I was just slow lol) but it was fun.
  • Was fun fun fun! Learned so much. Instructor was hands-on! Great experience I enjoyed with my daughter! Would just recommend to wear an old shirt or bring a smock... then again, I'm not the neatest! Highly recommend. Will be back!
  • Maybe I left my review in the wrong place. The class was really great in every way. Emily was especially wonderful.
  • It was a great time, and very informative, but I want to really give credit to two things in particular the venue and the instructor. The place was great with a surprise of live music and very cheap bar which me and my girlfriend kept running off to. Also, mainly the instructor Sandro was great and super nice and professional.
  • Very calm a computer young lady, was my tutor, shared loads of examples if her work, and gave us room to manipulate and understand the molds and rice paper Loved the experience
  • Class was excellent! I took my niece for her birthday and I was so impressed with the amount of items we baked. The English muffins were delicious and I love how we used the real recipes from great British baking show. Extra special was we got to take so many goodies home. A+++
  • It was amazing. ? Thank you so much
  • The instructor was engaging and clear. My granddaughter and I really did learn what the course promised. We learned to decorate a beautiful cake. We had a wonderful 2 hours and came away having had a great experience together.
  • Really fun and great instructor
  • Great Class with a great teacher. Worth every penny
  • So much fun!
  • Loved that the instructor was very educational, explained why we would take certain steps, and some of the chemistry behind it. She was wonderful! Thanks so much, Emily!
  • Very fun class!
