What you'll learn in this beginner photography class:

Does your camera confuse you? This 3 hour class will cover iso, aperture, shutter speed and more. you'll never want to photograph in auto mode again!

Materials you need to bring to class :

  • Camera with Manual Mode required. Make sure you bring this to class as we will be practicing during the class.
  • If you have a DSLR, bring the kit lens (the lens that came with it, i.e. 18-55mm) or something similar.
  • Make sure you have a memory card and fully charged battery.
  • No tripods or other lenses, etc. are needed.

Any DSLR camera or a camera with manual mode is okay. We believe in simplicity. We have a different approach to teaching - we keep it simple, make it easy and most importantly, we make it fun and empowering to learn.

Mindy Veissid is a wonderful photography instructor. With clear, expansive, user-friendly explanations, she patiently and thoughtfully showed me how to shoot the best possible photos with my Canon DSLR camera. In addition to helping me to easily understand the technical requirements of this advanced camera, she also provided practical assistance so that learning became doing. Really good teacher!
