What you'll learn in this sculpture class:

In this class students will provide a model to be molded. If you do not want to bring your own model we will provide you with one. Models that exceed a certain size and complexity may require an additional fee. 

Silicone rubber and plaster of Paris will be included in the $575 charge. The class will last two days and cover several different mold making techniques., one and two piece molds, as well as brush on, pour on, and blanket molds.
 
On the first day teh instructor will introduce the concept of Mold Making and discuss each students molding needs, according to their model. Students will be encouraged to assist each other and learn from all the different molds that will be produced during this workshop.
 
If time allows the basics of life casting will also be covered during this workshop as well as several casting techniques that can be utilized once your mold is complete.
 
BRING YOUR OWN SCULPTURE (size limit aprox. 12”) TO BE MOLDED.
