Description

Students learn anything from how to read a pattern, basic to advanced knitting, continental, how to finishing, lace, pattern reading, sock knitting, advanced esoteric techniques, edges, entrelac, multi directional knitting, cables, bobbles socks, socks on two circular needles, slip stich knitting, intarsia, fair sle, fatchwork knitting, buttonholes and borders, classy cast ons & castoffs, grafting stitches, steeking, aran knitting, finishing skills, fixing mistakes, gorgeous gloves.

This class will guide you through the project of your choice in a friendly, small-group setting during this 2 hour session.

Amy teaches the first Sunday of every month and Gretchen the other Sundays.

Note:Materials are not included and must be purchased at our store. No outside materials will be allowed in class.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to pick out and purchase your materials.

School Notes: Please note: Materials must be purchased at The Yarn Company before class. All materials will be available there for purchase, and you may contact them directly to find out about cost.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds, but we do offer date switches based on the following rules.

For Absolute Beginners Crochet or Knitting, if you contact us more than 72 hours prior to your class, you may transfer to another scheduled date of the class. If you contact us less than 72 hours before the class, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or date switch.

For all other classes, we require 5 days notice for date switches, and we do not allow refunds.

I really enjoyed the class, the teacher was amazing and helpful. And because I was alone in the class, she taught me according to my level and to my interests. The shop is also great, I fall in love with it! Unfortunately I left the class and forgot to take some pictures!
