Question from Jacob A.
I know historically this class has at one point been organized such that while as a class 5-10 meals are made, each student is assigned to a group and only makes 1-2 items. I wanted to know if that was still the case for this class, or if it has been reorganized such that each student makes each item?

The teacher was great! The recipes were very average in taste and flavors. The kitchen staff was extremely noisy when disposing the plates and pots as well as cleaning.

Excellent course! The chef was knowledgeable and we learnt staples I was looking forward to cooking such as beef Satay (which I do at home as chicken Satay), summer rolls (fresh and delicious, I do a vegetarian version), pad thai and chicken curry. All the recipes are at restaurant level or above, and you don't need to buy much from a specialty store in order to make a lot of dishes over long periods of time. Highly recommend!

This was my second class at the Institute of Culinary Education. I love the cooking classes at ICE. The instructors are very knowledgeable and we get to cook in a professional kitchen. The Essentials of Thai Cooking was a lot of fun and we ate our delicious culinary creations at the end of the class. I enjoyed it so much that I'm signing up for the Essentials of Thai Cooking II.
