Description
What you'll learn in this fiddle class:
Beginning Fiddle this December is designed for people who have some familiarity with violin, given that many students will be continuing on from the eight-week fall session. The class will progress from familiar simple melodies (ie. Mary Had a Little Lamb) to classic American fiddle tunes. Along the way you'll also learn several major scales, basic bowing and fingering techniques and how to read tablature, a simplified form of notation. If you are an absolute beginner, it might be best to wait for the January cycle to start from scratch, but if you consider yourself a "beginner" with some knowledge of the instrument who can join others who've been learning for eight weeks, this class is right for you! And for returnees, the class will give everyone new skills and tunes.
Refund Policy
- Full refund less 5% cancellation fee or full credit for another session of classes are available until 4 business days before your 1st class begins.
- If you cancel your registration 2 business days before your 1st or 2nd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given.
- If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no credit is available.
The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.
If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
