Question from Antoinette B.
Is this a good class to take as an introduction into human resources if you haven't had past experience in the field?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Antoinette! All of Pace University's recertification courses are designed to convey value to people at every level of their HR career. The Employee Relations certificate course is subject-specific to the topic, but it presumes no exact pre-existing HR background and is open to people of all skill levels. It could certainly serve as an introductory course to HR, focusing on the specific subject on employee relations. Hope this helps!

Question from Francesca C.
Is this an interactive class?
Answer from Sarah S. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
The class is in fact an instructor-led, interactive class, which usually includes vibrant class discussion. While the course is listed as a seminar and is lecture-oriented, class participation and discussion plays a large role.
