What you'll learn in this pitch training:
Professional publicist and media trainer Marcy Clark guides you in the subtle art of crafting an engaging pitch letter to any publication on your “wish-list.” Practice, in written and verbal form, how to incorporate the pitch elements that every media outlet or speaking engagement decision-maker looks for—including third-party endorsement and the specifics that will help you get the meeting, call, or article.
Participants will have the opportunity to pitch “live” to media guests from top-tier media outlets and ask their most burning PR questions.
Note: There will be a Pitching workshop, followed by a Media Panel—such as Kacey Morabito Grean (Shine On Radio), Ashley Papa (Reader’s Digest, Fox), Michelle Kienan (Radically Selfish Podcast), Tara Cox (Everyday Rachael Ray), David Straus, and more.

For Single Evening Events, Series, Half-Days and Mini-Workshops, Walking Tours, Single-Event Webinars or O’Cast™ Recordings, there are no refunds or course credits for these offerings.
For Full Workshops, Ongoing Courses and Webinars and Online Courses:
- Refunds are available minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 11 business days prior to the first day of the program.
- Course credits are available, minus a processing fee* if you cancel up to 3 business days prior to the first day of the program.
*The processing fee for cancellation is $15 for programs costing less than $250, and $35 for programs costing $250 and up.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations less than 3 business days prior to the first day of a program, or if a student does not attend a program. The estimated refund processing time is two to three weeks.
