Description

This course provides a thorough introduction to Rhino 3D modeling software and establishes a solid foundation in essential skills for creating and modifying geometric objects.

Requirements:

No prior experience with Rhino or 3D modeling is necessary.
Bring a PC or Mac laptop with Rhino software already installed (PC is preferred for optimal performance)

Course Topics:

Comprehensive familiarity with the Rhino interface and workflow
Introduction to Rhino's various geometry types and applications
Essential techniques for efficiently creating and editing geometric forms
Precision modeling strategies using snaps, guides, and construction planes (cplanes)
Advanced modeling with curves and surface geometry
Solid modeling techniques and applications
Object organization and management using layer systems

School Notes: Students can use the school's computer for a fee of $50

Refund Policy

Cancellation:

If cancelled 4 business days prior to class start time, we can refund minus 25% fee.
Workshops can be cancelled by the school if there is low enrollment. In this case students can transfer to a different date or receive full refund.

Rescheduling:

We require 4 business days to reschedule to a different class date.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Ian was fantastic! he was patient and super-knowlegable. The only problem with the course (through no one's fault) is that I would have loved and needed a full week's worth of them! The software is quite complex, and will take me some time to get it down.

The class was definitely what I was looking for and learned a lot from the teacher. I loved the fact that class was very small at 6 and not overwhelming. Instructor was very detailed and easy to learn from. As a beginner of the software, after the class I felt I can definitely start using the program right away.
