What you'll learn in this ceramics class:

This is a 9-week course taking wheel throwing and glazing to the next levels.

Students will be expected to get out of their comfort zones and push their skills towards challenging new goals. We will explores more complex wheel thrown forms, learn various finishing techniques and go more in depth with glazing.

Students should be capable of centering without assistance, throwing basic forms, like cylinders, bowls etc and working comfortably with at least 2.5 lbs of clay. This class is best suited for those students who have completed several beginner courses.

Includes clay and glazes, all tools, storage and 27 hours of additional studio bench time.

Firing Fees are paid separately prior to firing. The firing fees are 5 cents per cubic inch for items under 8” and 6 cents cents per cubic inch for items over 8”. Firing fees include both the bisque and glaze firing of each piece.

Refund Policy

For classes with more than 4 sessions:

To receive a 95% course refund, requests must be received at least 15 business days prior to the first session.
To receive a 75% refund, requests must be received at least 8 business days prior to the first session.
To receive a 50% refund, requests must be received at least 4 business days prior to the first session.
No refunds, transfers or application of fees to future classes are granted from and after the date of the first class. NO EXCEPTIONS

The school reserve the right to cancel any class with less then 5 students. In the event of cancellation, class transfer and/or store credit will be issued.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
