What you'll learn in this bag class:

Taught by two accomplished experts from Italy, the course focuses on creating complete patterns for the most popular construction groups, that is, bags sewn upside down or with piping.

Program

Designing a leather handbag: Introduction to hand sketching
Introduction to the basic tools for manual pattern making
Introduction to pattern making with presentation of different constructions
Group 1 - Shoulder bag with flap
Group 2 - Boston bag
Group 3 - Bucket handbag

Participants can deepen their knowledge in techniques, equipment, and the technology used to construct different styles in handbag design. They will learn how to translate original concepts into paper and felt patterns, sewn by machine.

Refund Policy

Cancellations made at least 2 business days in advance of the class will be honored with a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
Students who cancel less than 2 business days prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
