Here's how it works:

come ready to work mostly independently on your project
Alan will have your back for q&a, guidance on techniques and safety, and helpful tips

Don't have a project in mind and just want to refresh your skills? No problem--purchase a bowl or spindle blank when you register and we'll have it ready for you.

Wear shop-appropriate clothing--comfortable shoes and no loose or hanging items.

Bring a pencil and paper to take notes (optional).

Refund Policy

We reserve the right to cancel or discontinue any class, in which case you may choose to receive a refund, register for an alternate course or receive tuition credit.

To withdraw from a class, please notify us in writing at [email protected].

If you withdraw more than ten days before a class begins, we will refund 100% of tuition paid minus a 5% processing fee. Alternatively you can receive 100% refund in Makeville store credit which can be applied to a future class.
If you withdraw less than ten days before your class begins, we cannot offer any option for refund.

We are unable to refund tuition for classes students miss due to their own circumstances.
