Musical Theater Masterclass with Amber Snead CSA Casting Director, Murnane Casting
AC is thrilled to welcome Amber in to teach this One Night Only Musical Theater Master Class!
Amber has over a decade of experience, with a background spanning both coasts, including casting for Broadway, off-Broadway, tours, regional, and Los Angeles theatre. Most recently, she was casting at Binder Casting and ARC Casting, working on projects like Disney’s THE LION KING on Broadway and the North American tour.
Murnane's current and upcoming projects include Anne of Green Gables, Dear Evan Hansen, Tina, The Sound of Music, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The group has previously worked with Classic Stage Company, Goodspeed Musicals, The Hollywood Bowl, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Drury Lane Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company, and Bay Street Theater.
Amber is interested in working with actors of all types
Event Overview:
The evening will start off with a Q & A, and then each actor will perform for her using your prepared material in a group format.
For this Master Class, please prepare two "short" contrasting songs (16 or 32 bars). Please also have your list of songs/book available as Amber might want to hear more.
She will coach, give direction and offer honest, constructive feedback on your audition material if what you are currently using doesn't “work".
An accompanist will be provided.
