The class included a lot (but not too much) for two hours: a bit of explanation about the history and philosophy of tango, and instruction on a few fundamental steps which built up to a 8-step sequence. The instructors were clear and patient. They gave some individual pointers while we practiced. We also got to see a performance by two guest instructors from Argentina - gorgeous! -

Class was fun! Instructors were great. I just have two reservations about it. The process to sign in took too long so we had to wait and missed part of the beginning instructions, which is important. The other is that the class is held with another right next to it and so we couldn't hear everything the instructors were saying because there was a lot of talking over the other teacher. -

Argentine Tango (Intermediate/Advanced)
I've been taking classes with Jon for a few years now, which speaks for itself, and I started as just a beginner. I'm now an advanced student and pretty good dance and all thanks to Jon. His more compact classes, less structured and more programmatic approach to teaching really make one progress quickly. The bigger schools take much longer to teach the same thing and have classes sizes that I have always found to be too big. There is also a camaraderie that develops in a smaller group that makes attending milongas together much easier. So whatever your level, I very much recommend Jon as a teacher. Just GO! -

Great teacher...Great class...The only problem was that there were far too few followers.. End up kind of standing around a lot.. Tried to change the rating to 3 or 4 stars because of it.The sit prompt doesn't seem to work... No fault of the teacher though. She did great in spite of it..
