If you're looking to hone your skills as a satirist or simply learn the basics of humor writing, this workshop is here to help! Through writing exercises and feedback, both novice and experienced writers will get the assistance they need to turn their ideas into sharp and funny satirical pieces. Students will also get advice on how to hone their voices as writers and tips on where and how to effectively pitch their work to humor outlets. Whether you're looking to rack up bylines or simply try out a new form of expression, this workshop will encourage you to keep putting pen to paper in a safe, supportive environment at Brooklyn's top comedy theater and school.
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
