Use What You've Got: Subverting the System

Sometimes you gotta get tactical to make change happen, adopt and adapt what’s available to you and be efficient with the resources you have. This is all about be subtle and yes, subversive with your approaches to being a positive effect in the world.

Subversion (in Latinsubvertere means to overthrow) refers to a process by which the values and principles of a system in place, are contradicted or reversed. We subvert by intervening and in order to do this effectively we need intent, purpose and tactics. This is not some anarchist conspiracy, it’s all about being a noble and effective change agent and working to leverage effect by using what you’ve got.

In this class we cover tactics and tools for subtlety leveraging change, this is a cumulative class that will serve you best if you have attended other classes at the Un-School. We summarise and put into place many of the approaches we have explored in other classes.
